Submit a job-script to Slurm using Jobbergate CLI

Create Job Submission

Note: the ID is the Job Script ID that this job submission will execute. (“76” in this example)

jobbergate-cli create-job-submission --name hello_world --id 76

You should see the following output:

Inspect the job using slurm primitives

The sacct command will show information about submitted jobs. Run the sacct command and look for the job id of the job we just submitted.

$ sacct

       JobID    JobName  Partition    Account  AllocCPUS      State ExitCode
------------ ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- --------

The sreport command will show detailed information about a specific job. Run the sreport command supplying the target job id to get a detailed view of the job.

$ sreport
